Been quiet for a while, you may have noticed… We moved out of our CHUs into transient housing, and my personal internet connection went the way of the dodo…

Of all things, I found your blog by googling “puppy nose.”
I’ll take serendipity where I can get it — of late I’ve been looking for soldiers’ blogs to read. They’re somewhat hard to find? despite my considerable google-fu. I’m a bit new to the soldier mindspace, so perhaps I’m not using the right terms. Puppy nose seems to be a winner though!
Nonetheless, thank you for your service, and if I’m reading between the lines correctly, you’ll be home soon. An early welcome home from a stranger in Chicago, and in the meantime, stay tight and keep safe.
