I would be honored to witness a formation like that fly by, at any elevation. When I look up and see a service aircraft, or even a group of them. I am proud. Though I've never served, I gain from them in some small part a sense of honor and respect, of camaraderie. And I believe I am privileged to call them my brothers, and my sisters. These men and women who give their all freely, these armed forces that go into hell and back for me, this military that defends my shores, this personal bodyguard of mine. To have a squadron of pilots salute me one last time with an aerial display? We should all be so lucky.

Thank you for posting this. Lt Col. Rosensteel certainly provided a complete answer to our "shopper". It's interesting to note that some still do not have a clue what they enjoy in this country comes a a price. I guess ignorance
is bliss. God still loves them and as long as there are people
like Lt Col Rosensteel they will still enjoy their freedom to
shop when and where they wish.
